This place has been great!
I hunted a different section of the hills tonight (one of the old ball fields) because the sprinklers were on where I left off last time I was there. The ground was real hard and the little bugs that flew up off the seed grass just about drove me nuts. Then to top it off I dug a penny that was in an ants nest, NICE!!!
I was finding all the normal clad and garbage then right at the end of my time limit got a nice, strong 84 reading saying quarter around 4" deep. I dug the hole and there they were, two silver coins in one hole. I pulled out a 1945 nickle and a 1943 quarter. They cleaned up nice with just a little water and soap.
If I wasn't so sore from yard work today I would have done the happy dance, I did do it in my head though, if that counts.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.
