Yes, the old city park produced $.86 clad (with a 1944 wheatie) and probably has the potential of a lot more since I was only able to hit the perimiter of only half of it. Interestingly I also found E.60 euros. Two .20E and 2 .10E. Maybe I can use it next time I travel to Europe.

HOWEVER,

On the way to the park I was thinking about what I have read about Coin Roll Shooting, so I stopped by my local bank and bought $60 of half dollar coin rolls just to check out when I got home. (I am retired and easily bored).

WELL NOW!!

I get home, opened a couple beers, sat down, began to open the rolls and LO AND BEHOLD, there are 18 (YES 18!) 40% SILVER KENNEDYS minted between 1966 and 1969! And when I opened the last roll I found this!!:
Guess what I'm gonna do tomorrow!

No more long boring nights for Yeasty! ;D Congrats on those finds!

Nana ;)

Beats the heck out of what I got. Out of 6 rolls, I got about 7 bicentinal halfs,
Hope your luck holds.

nice I have heard coin rolling is a great way of discovery

I wonder if it matters what part of the country you are in and where
the rolls come from, 'cause I went through $500 worth of half-dollars, and came
up with only TWO 40-percenters and ONE silver.
Rewarding anyway.

Way to go! Keep up the good work.

WTG on the coin roll hunting! You have some beauties there for sure!

nice! I sorted $1000 this week of half dollars and found ONLY 3 40%ers
