Viking Trefoil Brooch never seen one as big as that, but quite rare over here. I once found one of the lobes from one, but not a complete one like that beauty.

I agree it should make the Banner, it is a very rare piece indeed, but how many people will vote for it
because they perhaps don't know just what a incredible piece it really is.The brooch would have been used to fasten a cloak or shawl at the breast.

That Viking Trefoil Brooch is a BANNER no brainer to me!!!! (Vote in)
The first buckle looks 13/14th C. The working silver one is very nice, so is the weight with the 'S'.
The two faced pewter piece might be a terminal to a spoon, looks 18th C.
That is some great new land, & that brooch would make my year. COMPLETE in a ploughed field - lucky!
