One Bullet and One Arrow kinda day....

Saturday morning around 7:00,drinking coffee on the back porch I noticed this buck "harrassing" this doe . It took me 2 min.'s to get dressed and head out to the bank barn with the bow figuring that's where they would come out.Sure enough,25 yd.'s quartering away and this guy was down for the count After a gutting 101 for Lil' Man he was processed and in the freezer.My buddy Roger (Getty) invited me up to a place he has overlooking Harpers Ferry and picked up on fired 3-ringer before dark,a piece of lead and a whiskey bottle shard. Not a bad day in my book

Yep, I walked out to the porch with my coffee and had to take a double take...there was a deer hauling a$$ from behind the bank barn. Thought, ok, he must have gotten the other one by the barn then I saw him drop and ran out the door yelling "woohoo" . Got the truck keys, ran to the truck and drove across the field to help you out. Wasn't til I got out of the truck that I realized I was still in my robe & slippers and coffee in hand Heck of a day! Deer in the freezer and a bullet to finish the day!
