one day only, advice?

I have only one day to detect a house built around 1900. House is still standing, been remodelded. Ive searched the property once and got a lot of the surface coins. I need suggestions on how to best get the older, deeper coins. I do have all metal capabilities and a smaller coil. Thanks in advance.

My one advice is go really slow and listen for the one way signals and repeatable!

With only one day, I would cherry pick. Set your discrimination to only sound off on coins, then dig everything that beeps.

Been there before. We went slow. However, we went to the front yard, the path to the outhouse and the barn. Also the older trees around the stock pond. We didn't finish but to make us feel better we felt we had hopefully detected the best places.

Where is the house located? On a farm? In a city/town?

Slow and steady does it. It's a big help that you've cleaned up on the surface coins, because now you can focus on those deeper, hopefully better targets. I'd go All-Metal to start, and if you start getting a lot of trashy items, then work the Discrimination.
