What's new

one ear of sweet 🌽 from last fall

I saved seeds from a couple of outstanding tomato plants one year and planted them, and they all came up cherry tomatoes, which was still ok. From experience, never plant cucumbers and squash close together, cause they will cross-pollinate. About corn, one year I planted a second crop, dumped a ton of fertilizer on it, and poured the water to it. I had corn stalks that grew 10 feet high, but no ears. People pulled over to the side of the road to look at it and ask me about it. I told them I was growin that for silage to save face.
This tomato plant came up on its own from last year's tomatoes. I think its from Roma.??
