One Indian head cent closer to 1,000. #998 dug yesterday.

I knew finding the last three would be difficult but didn't expect it to be this hard. I've been hitting all my old hot spots trying to squeeze out the last three to hit the 1,000 mark. Got lucky yesterday afternoon and the first target I dug after exiting my truck was a nice 1860 fattie to bring my total to 998. Nothing else for the next hour....Might head back later today and give it another couple hours. Just two more. Today's the day !

Wow! That’s a lot of Indian heads. I don’t know how many that I’ve dug over the years but, it’s nowhere close to 1,000. Good job and keep at it. I hope #1,000 is a 1877!
