One Lot = 3 Silvers! Chinese man?

[rayrayvegas]

All in all was a good weekend of hunting also helped out a young guy down on his luck who has a huge passion for metal detecting but cannot afford to purchase one, he walks the empty lots here looking for old surface coin finds, actually was amazed when he showed me his finds. Decided to give up my first detector to him my old Whites coinmaster classic ll. Seeing him so excited was worth alot to me. anyways found a variety of finds and apparently a ladies cosmetic drawer from the 20's. Never found so much of these at one time. 2 Mercs that really need a cleaning, silver pendent marked mex sterling (30-40')ususual wheaties, token, old butons, one a quartermasters a little different from the one I found last month, a 1 inch lead Chinese man looks like it was gold plated at one time, a 1944 Centavos, kids ring, a 1936 stamp from Las vegas city building co. And a rather large medal. Fun weekend but getting HOT, Was 103 this weekend. Thanks for looking.

First off, very kind of you to give that fella your other detector. It will definitely come back around. We have had the heat as well here in West Texas with 105 one day last week. Gotta love Spring!! Quite an assortment of finds there. Always good to see silver. Congrats on all the interesting goodies.

Really, really cool finds, Ray. Man, you must have some callouses cause that dirt looks hard as concrete. Good on you for giving that young man your old detector. I just wonder which lot or tear out yields your reward for that nice deed. Thanks for being a good guy.

Od, proably 90% is hard sunbaked dirt, rest is sandy. Why my sliver usually comes out so bad, takes alot of work to clean them up. I dig with my left usually so all the callosus are on the left hand only. Lol, tried wearing gloves just to dang hot here to keep them on.

great finds as always!!

The ground isn't too kind to the items you find, but you always manage to surprise me. The one item looks like a quartermaster branch of service lapel pin.
