I came across it with my checkbook. BUT, I've had it several years now, so I guess it wasn't a reactionary purchase (but it really was). While non dug, apparently, I have never even seen one in private hands so I thought I'd put up a few pics. I"m sure there are some out there somewhere. A uniform like this looks good with the excavated and non dug buttons. It's in pretty good shape for it's age, with a little moth damage, but the damage is not bad. It's on a mannequin body form with an original Civil War period shirt and cavalry hat. Standard issue regulation Confederate staff officer's vest, with the 5 droop wing eagle buttons on it. The buttons are original with the original thread. Enjoy.
