I break my hunting areas into sections so I dont wipe it out so fast. Todays finds were okay 2 scrapers and a broke and then the big rim section which has decoration on it but I cant make it out. Hopefully next hunt will yield a point but they seem to be scarce in my area but plenty of scrapers though. Georgia find surface only, rock

That is a big piece of intact pottery...beautiful day to be out!

Interesting finds, thanks.

That is a big piece of pottery!!!! Thanks for sharing.

Nice finds, what material is that? Love the pottery....I never find any although it should be here.

I was told at a show that all of my flint is Flint Ridge but I always thought that type had swirls in it. I do find some with quartz inclusions in it like the one on the far left. Must of been hard to work. Piece on the far right is solid black and is what I would call a square knife by the thickness and design.

Thanks I find some big rim sections but have never seen where it is coming from. Must of been a lot of pots out there at one time.

if you are finding a lot of scrappers you are at a seasonal camp spot, there must be a lot more out there.
