I would go to Fredrickton OH. Because thats where my dad lives and have you seen the stuff those guys in Ohio find.

Anywhere South ....
Ga . , Alabama, Tennessee, Carolinas , or anywhere the grounds not froze yet.

What kind of detecting do you like to do? I'd pick a place suited to that type and with a warmer climate.

All I've ever done is here in Ohio. I can pick any week this year... just not sure where to go. Where would you go... and what would you hunt for? Beach, ghost town, New England, someplace different?

Centralia, Penna in warmer weather. Whole town is gone do to underground fires in old coal mines. Streets are still there. Most houses torn down by the State. Some land is still privately owned and permission must be asked for. I've had some good silver finds in this area. Do a search on the net for the whole story on the town.

Thanks Gusser. I've heard about it. Been on fire for fifty years I think. Ill check it out.

Anyone else have a suggestion?

Southwest Florida beaches are calling you...Sanibel, Captiva, Ft. Myers Beach, etc....and if you want to find shark teeth, Venice Beach, and Manasota Key are a sure thing. March the best time to come... peak of tourist season, and the nightlife is surprisingly hoppin... also Spring Training baseball if you need a break..think about it...you wanna get out of the cold Don't you?

I've always been told that I should try the east coast of Florida near Sabastion Inlet? Is the Gulf coast better?
