I picked up 2 boxes today from a new source. She will only get me two a month. I was encouraged because I have never gotten flat boxes before (5 x 10 x 1)

So far I have opened half of one box and all but 3-4 are 2001P and they are absolutely BU. The only coins I have seen nicer are proofs.

My 2007 handbook of US coins (Blue Book) says they are not intended for circulation and list at $4 for MS-63

Should I be thrilled or is this the book price but no one wants them?

I still have another box in the car, probably the same. Need to know all your opinions as I need to dump these or sell them soon.

2007 Redbook indicates 21,200,000 minted for 2001P. I think I remember someone saying there was a error in one of the books, indicating NIFC for 2001. Sorry.

just noticed my redbook has the footnote for NIFC also on 2001P. Obviously incorrect if those mintage numbers are right.

Well it looks like I will be dumping them back into a bank.

Just called 2 coins stores and neither one is even slightly interested.

I may try to sell some rolls on craigs list or ebay but don't know yet.

Same crap happened to me today, my first box and all the rolls are 2000P, what a downer.
