Only a couple of bottles but at least it's cleaning out the trash

In an effort to find shipwrecks I came across these two oldish bottles. They have side seams so not of any value but it felt good cleaning them up anyhow.

However, I get the feeling the place I found them might be sort of a catchment area because I found a very old thick shard of very dark green glass and a bottom piece to a blown bottle that is old.

Those are great man... nice finds.

Thanks Archie,

the left one is a Williams and Humbert port bottle, they have a neat history. I might clean that one and use it as a decantur.

There are uses for old bottles. Cool to find anyway. Signs of sand blasting may indicate travel, or exposure to current but travelers should show the effects.

Old bottles are neat and they can elude the metal detectors as well.

There is no doubt booze bottles both young and old tend to congregate in certain areas. Once a good place to drink, always a good place to drink, I guess.

Of course my view on the matter is that every place is a good place to drink...
