Only second piece ever.

Got out today and found a few points. But the hi lite of the day was this piece of pottery. Don't find much of this. Can see the sand and shell in it It's only my second piece ever. First was smaller than a penny. Very happy to have it. Also met a few new detectoirists out there.

What is the reason for pottery being hard to find in your area. In my area I find way more pottery than I do points when I go hunting, I'll trade with you LOL

Not all sites had pottery at least in my area. Some sites are too old to have it. The woodland and Mississippian sites have plenty. Nice find

Well how cool is that then. That tells you a time frame and there might be some more goodies to find. Pottery also means they stayed there awhile
