Hello,
Decided that since Navy Fed won't order boxes for me(or themselves) that I would open a new account. BoA said that they won't order them for me either without a fee tho, but I opened an account there anyway. They are sure to keep more rolls of nickles on hand than Navy Fed, who only has what hand rolls get turned in. The most promising thing was that when I asked if they ever saw the old larger $1 coins. She said something to the effect of, "We see them sometimes, and always look for the fastest way to get rid of them." Told her to call me and I will be happy to take them off their hands

I was able to pull $100 in nickles there, as well as a lot from a couple Navy Fed branches. Checked one roll in the truck to be sure they werent all freshly minted, and found a war nickle. Once I finish going through them all Ill report. There was another nice one, but Ill wait to share the news.
Also, the teller at the first Navy Fed branch told me within the last week someone deposited multiple rolls full of war nickles. She said that they were long gone, as someone at that bank collects coins too. Rats.
