there are no "scrapes or cuts" along the sides of this raised ridge, which resembles a levee having curved walls ascending to the plateau. reverse of coin is normal.
is it a die crack ,
struck thru scrap coin metal on planchet ,
or,
scrap adhered to die that was struck onto coin .
note the plateau caused metal spread on G, RUST.
sent more photos to MDia1, his initial opinion is sharp blade cut a "pressure ridge" on the coin--- BUT-- there are ---how you say NO CUTS below the struck surface.
