orange and green coins bring me luck!

picked up 5 boxes of halves on Thursday, and one of the boxes was loaded with orange and green spray painted coin. i counted 11 spray painted enders on one side. Discouraged i started to search and 3 rolls in i hit a beautiful 1959-d franklin! Then 2 rolls later a 1963! The box produced 2 franklin, 2- 1964, and 11 40%! Not to shabby for all the marked coins. there was one 40% ender i did not notice. Every roll had at least 2 spray painted coins. Picked up 5 more 40% in the other boxes. 2 were skunks. HH

Hey Mark, very nice score! I have had similar luck with green and orange halves in the past too, see the Walker ender next to the tupperware, it was in the box with the orange halves, just thought it was a funny coincedence ha ha. Don't let the marked halves fool ya, I have had plenty of boxes in the past filled with 1 hunters marks and it still produce. Very nice score! HH, Maverick.

maverick, that is exactly what my boxes looked like. There were more orange than green though. I normally do not let seeing marked coins bother me but there was a lot. Im just glad i had a decent haul. I dont think a have ever opened a box with at least one marked coin ender in it. Funny thing is i have never seen one of my marks. I only mark 20 coins per box. black line threw "we trust". HH

Ya, I thought it was funny, I have had those pics for a while, I still see those marked coins showing up in my boxes all the time and that was back in like June of last year. I get ones that I marked way back when showing up every now and then still, (Maverick), they have even been posted on here from other members getting them. I don't mark anymore, I just remember the marks I see now. HH, Maverick.
