I haven't found many points since we moved to Oregon, mostly because I haven't really looked. I purchased a piece of property that was the location of a camp, and I found a few items. The top three points are off of that property. When we move there I was told by one of the locals that he had cigar boxes of points and chips that he found on the place. In those days they farmed it to watermelons, and when the ground was worked up he'd wait for a rain, then get out there and pick up pockets full of points. I didn't work the ground, those old watermelon fields were used by me to make grass hay. To be honest, I didn't look really hard, but did more of a target of opportunity type search. I found the white point in the septic tank ditch when we first move there and were building our home. The top obsidian point was found partially sticking out from under a dried cow pie. I found one broken point digging a post hole, but don't know what happened to it. The red point came out of the creek, and it had been in there long enough that a lot of the flakes are smoothed off and hard to see. I also found a broken bowl in the creek, pictured in a different post. The bottom three points come from over in the desert. The very bottom one is an obsidian knife/spear point that comes from a central Oregon desert ranch. They had taken a caterpillar and dug out a spring into a water tank, and the knife or spear point was lying on top of the ground on the berm. The orange colored point comes from the same place, and the obsidian point on the right is from northern Nevada. We were looking at this guys cows in the corral, and it was right there, on top of the ground, all by itself. We didn't buy his cows, but I kept the point, because I figured he'd been walking over it for a long time, so I just put it in my pocket without saying anything. No big stories, just happened to find them when busy doing something else.
