Original simplex 2.68. need advice for Colonial sites

I bought the simplex when it first came out,
used it only once, and kept it as a spare, not familiar with machine but have good faith in it

My friend wants to come with me to colonial sites farm s foundations and field, he has access for permissions also

what are best settings for around colonial. cellar holes. , and then adjoining fields.

machine is at 2.68, and standard coil

any advice much appreciated,

as far as software, I've been using my Simplex since 2.68 and have had better overall performance once I updated to 2.77 (not 2.78)

Use Field mode and light up the iron sound a bit and dig all high tones!

That’s good advice. Also, If you get a lot of chatter, do a ground balance. My default is 90.0 and I rarely have it higher than 76.2 when ground balanced. That’s for my soil of course. Good luck.🍀

Yeah, the volcanic soil we have is pretty high in mineralization that balances pretty high , in the mid to high 70’s
