We got our new jelly feeder and the orioles are going crazy over it. Last couple of years, just a few orioles. This year, a dozen or more. Had to upgrade the feeder from my homemade one. They eat the cheapest grape jelly you can buy. Gary

They are some of the coolest looking birds. I'll see a couple from time to time. Thanks for the pic!

Grape jelly .. I would never have thought of that! That beauty certainly seems to be enjoying his sweets!

That is cool! Can I ask what the recipe is? I'm sure it is simple.

My wife buys cheap grape jelly from Aldi's. That's what they like. Just straight jelly. Also have one female grosbeak eating jelly too. Gary

We have orioles also. Our humming bird feeder has wells on the top for jelly Can't seem to keep it full. Where did you get your feeder??

Agree and make sure you get grape jelly, not jam!

Birds here in MI can perch on anything!

I think the well at the top is for water so the ants can't get to the sugar water. If you don't have ants I guess it would work okay for jelly. Wife got it online. I'll check and see where she got it. Gary

Cool bird, thanks for sharing! :icon_thumleft:
