✅ SOLVED ornate hook

Any Ideas on the hook thing on the left? It was found very close to the confederate lined A button, but there was a house on the site until 1920ish so they may not be related.

(fyi the seated dime is 1875, found within 30 yards )

Looks like a nice old picture rail hook. Old houses with plaster walls had a piece of trim installed about 6 inches from the ceiling called a picture rail. The pictures were suspended from the rails by these hooks.
