Did some digging today! Calling for six days of rain starting tomorrow so I had to get out.
I started at a spot that supposedly had a NWMP post back in the 1870's. I didn't find much other than horse tack and shells. I'll have to try it again sometime.

After that I headed back to town for a bit, and hit the usual spots. I was happy to see the Orphan Annie decoder pin. The dial still moves, and I've never dug one before.
Found some nice old Canada customs buttons, always a fun dig. Old Canadian penny 1933, and couple of jack knives.

Then I got that super sweet sound of "that's gotta be silver". This spot has produced older silvers, so I was wondering if I had a Merc, or a Barber, maybe a Seated! Then I cut the plug and saw the dime and said "nope, it's the worst silver coin you can find".
You're right Carolina Tom, silver is nice to find but the 1964 Rosie is about the most boring one you can dig. LOL
