Ottoman silver ring

I'm new here and I want to share with you my discoveries from a small country in the Balkans! :-) I'm starting with a silver ring from the Ottoman era.
If I'm doing something wrong, please let me know...

Not sure I understand ''Ottoman era'' enough to narrow the date of the ring?
What stone is it, Carnelian?

Nisam siguran da razumijem "otomansko doba" dovoljno da suzim datum prstena?
Koji je to kamen, karneol?

Ne razumijem se u kamenje, a informaciju koju je dobio i sam Osmanski sam dobio na jednom od foruma! :-(

Sort of looks like it to me too, Pepperj posted a couple pages of hallmarks, but I'm still looking for them.

I thought Ruby was a hard gemstone. 🤔
