Yes,the camp is very basic, but we have all we need out there. Mostly with us it's about the color.

Steve please explain to us something... why exactly do you have folks pay you $2000 USD a month to "work" this operation for you? It paints you out to be a modern day Tom Sawyer without some kind of clarification...

We provide 200 acres of good gold claims, camp and equipment, dredges and high bankers and we will help show how to find gold. People who go are not working for us, they do as they please and any gold they find is theirs to keep. Good fishing, site seeing, metal detecting and if willing to work they will find good gold. This is actually the least expensive Alaska adventure that I know of and it is not for everyone.

2k for a month trip to a Nome gold camp is a steal for a fishing vacation or to dig for gold. In Nome you can do both. I don't see where Steve advertises trips to his camp. Gcrab must know something I don't. The only way I could call it "working" for him is if he keeps all the gold.
A trip to AK for a few days can easily cost 2k.
In a good area like where it appears Steve is someone with experience could come out ahead at 2k for a month long stay at an interior gold camp on a claim in that area.
A newbie would have a blast and still come back with good gold.I would much rather stay at a camp like that vs one of the GPAA camps.

People pay to play everyday in 1,000s of places and this is no different. Be it gold/gem & mineral / experienced based ops for hunting, survival skill training etc etc etc.. No bfd ..John

Thank you. I don't know what the people who posted were complaining about. We don't sell trips to Alaska through our dive store. We sell diving trips through our dive store but nothing to Alaska. I am retired from our dive store and still go to Alaska each summer. My son Spencer owns everything we have in Alaska and he has more operations than we can use so we are looking for people who are willing to help pay expenses to use his five inland claims 60 miles from Nome. We have two dredges inland, high bankers and cabins as well as much equipment. We can't be in two places at once and spend most of our time and efforts operating our four ocean dredges at our operation located in Nome. I made a not very good video and put it on YouTube.
