Are you writing from a Commonwealth country? All the references stem from, and 2 out of three finds have been made in Great Britain.

The internment camp you mentioned was Australian. Did you see the listing in the UK Finds Database. UK Finds Database - - - UKDFD

This other one came from mudlarking the Thames: Mudlarking: February 2013

There was one other from New Smyrna, Fla.

Hi surf yes I'm in the uk found button by the side of a stream got info from www.migrationheritage.nsw.gov.au/.../tri... Sorry about quality of pic not got camera so had to take pic on iPhone thanks for info on this
