More of the Grandest Canyon.....And a picture of the Flagstaff International Airport,when I took the rental back...I did NOT wanted to live,,,,,,I really enjoyed my self,so did the Wife......

Nice pics, looks like you had a good time. I'm sure you'll agree that pictures alone don't do Grand Canyon justice, it's an experience you need to see first hand.

In the early 70's I had a job as Tour Guide on the South Rim . I drove the bus and gave the tour of both ends of the rim . Later when I retired to Kingman my neighbor told me that I would be a "shoe-in" for a job with him at Grand Canyon West as a pontoon boat driver . I got the job right off and had a good time . Really cool part was that we went to work and back out by chopper . Only way to get down to the river . I enjoyed the people and the tips were pretty good . Having German as a first language came in handy once again as it had at The South Rim .
I have been in and out as well as around The Canyon many times and still feel awed as well as insignificant relative to my surroundings . As much as we praise the canyon it just "tolerates" us .Glad you had a good time . Every time you go back you see something you had previously missed .
