Got out in the woods today not many targets and only one keeper a sterling desert spoon dated 1899. Hoping someone can also help me with the hallmarks. Thanks 20180729_205929.webp20180729_205746.webp20180729_205905.webp

That’s a spectacular silver spoon.
Sometimes wood hunts can be difficult, but the payoff
well worth it.

Great find, have never been on a hunt with one found that's sterling. Keep it up

That's an excellent find ! Might be Gorahm- is that a script G on there ?

I might be. And the anchor seems unusual to me

I can tell you its not British.

Definitely a Gorham spoon. That company was in Providence, Rhode Island. Nice one bud

These were referred to as pierced Bon-Bon spoons

That is a very cool spoon. :icon_thumleft:

Thats a very nice ornate spoon. The sterling just makes it that much better.

Very nice find bud. Must have been a mega signal that was skipped over? Good to hear you’re out woods hunting
