The past few hunts have been fun. They are redoing a few roads around here. I found the token this evening. I wish the old aluminum tokens held up better. It’s a little rough but may clean up better. I soak them in water and scrub them for a month or so. It reads E Mitterer Goldfield Colo
5 cents in trade. I find a lot of pocket watch parts and this one has a goldish hue. Can anyone suggest a good cheap gold test kit? I love local stuff, we make lemonade from the spring water in Manitou!! The fan piece is interesting and I can’t seem to find a picture of the old fan. The axel is tapered and is probably very old! I am finding the Equinox easier to use and like the explorer you can tell pretty much if it is a coin by the tone! Happy Hunting!!!
