I rode right seat as my buddy flew left seat in the FBo's Cessna 150 [video]http://www.dermandar.com/p/egynQs/c-150-flight-over-cherokee-ca[/video] As we flew over Cherokee Ca. the site of an old hydraulic mine of the 1850's gold rush era.. Hiked in there last week with my Fisher Gold Bug Pro.. found nothing

Nice picture did you find any evidence of sluice boxes or old hydraulic mining equipment?

We went in there last week found old mining carts with black sand, hydraulic mining tubes and flumes but no gold I did find a few rusty artifacts tho heres a pano from an area to the upper part of the aerial photo i took yesterday Cherokee Ca - Dermandar

the sand pile in the panorama is to the left in this aerial pic . They found huge amounts of gold there and blue diamonds back in its hey day.. Google Cherokee Ca.
