I remember about a hundred years ago, when I was young, that some restrooms did require you to put change (5 or 10 cents) into a slot, then you could turn it and open the potty door. I believe there was a public outcry and most places did away with them. So, a potty token like at the beach or other recreational area would make sense. Nice find!
