Being out of round is a characteristic of a contemporary cast counterfeit. A good find in my books!

Look closely and see if there are any file marks around the outer edge. Also see if it looks porous as if cast in a sand mold. And third, did it register in the bullet shell casing range? I ask these questions because I found two counterfeit KG's and those are the symptoms that mine exhibit along with being out of round. btw nice find ;D Here is a link to my post. http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,252848.0.html
