Ovation Celebrity Guitar at Goodwill

Stopped by GW because I had two minutes to spare and she is my mistress! Didn't see anything worth over $35.00 in profit so I was leaving and saw this guitar laying to the side. I only recognized the name because they had a couple once at another Goodwill in its auction. This one is a bit rough, but for $14.99...I can list it on EBay as a restoration project.

Good eye! D*** shame they marked the price on the body in ink, but a little paint thinner or finger nail polish remover might take it off.
Where is the damage? Is the bridge coming unglued?

The bridge IS coming unglued although it is hard to see. And that curved "design" on the left part of the guitar is cracking or some kind of crazing in the veneer. The price is actually a light wax pencil they use. Comes off with a cloth...but is harder on cardboard items. Sold some tables to a couple for $800.00 and didn't realize I did not clean the black wax price off good enough...$14.99 also! The tables were worth more than that and I didn't have anything to wipe the price off with...so I handed them to the husband and skedaddled.

I passed on a beautiful Espana guitar with a case for $85 just recently. It was in perfect condition I just couldn't figure out how to ship it

Try alcohol to remove the ink and if that doesn't work try hair spray on a cloth.

UPS or USPS will work fine. hehehe. The problem is you are so used to shipping the small shiny stuff. Hahah! HH
