Heading home to the front range last night I took Cottonwood pass. I got to the summit at around 8:PM just as the full moon came over the ridge. It was cool and rainy, just the way I like it. I ever cranked a little heat on in the truck so I could drive with the window down and breath that clean air up there. Here at home it's going to be a hot one and I can feel it coming on now here at 9:AM.

Magic time caught in your pics.(And too briefly your lungs) Those kind of shots would be stunning on wall sized pictures. Once hit a barbershop a few times where the owner had a mountain range photo his son sent him enlarged from two sides and seamed in the center making one wall a panoramic view. Not the same magic as being there but still impressive.
Thanks for sharing that elusive America under a younger sky type place.

I would ride up to Cottonwood pass a couple of times a week just to soak it all in when I lived in BV. Sure Beats Florida!

Both pictures are beautiful. I'm a sucker for pics showing the moon but the colors in the other are soooo tranquil.
