Crecent moon, stars and owls seemed to be a popular motif mid 1800 thru early 1900s. Could it be a lid to a trinket box?

It’s non magnetic and melts ice fast!

Cleaned the Owl up a little and straightened some between wood
I think it’s aluminum?
