Thanks Everyone! This owl was not the intended target but that's OK... I had picked up a road killed deer and placed it behind the old mossy log hoping for a bobcat or mountain lion. Still waiting to see what finds it. ( The owl didn't eat any of it. )

We have the Bard owl living on the property.
Often hear it calling out.

When I am archery hunting I like calling back and forth with the Bard owls. Sometimes they will come and investigate. I also occasionally will set up camera traps to get pics of them.

Real nice set-up! I use a similar set-up with the remote flashes with the exception of the DSLR
