I don't get them back home in Indiana.

It is the soil... PA is pesticide and chemical happy.. It ruins them. I found numerous red buffalo's. The combo of clay and chemicals ruins this. I always hope I will dig a 3 leg buffalo but with my luck if I do it will be red like the rest and the date will be gone. This crap farmers spread and airplanes now severely tarnishes and ruins old coins.

Red clad means you're probably in an area that hasn't been hunted a lot here in Pa. I like finding it, myself.

Old Dude.. I am from Williamsport, PA but now live in Shippensburg 30 mins from Gettysburg. If you are close to Williamsport I might be able to hook you up with some sites as long as I am with.

This was s school in Tobyhanna

I am near Wilkes-Barre. New places are always welcomed. I went to a large park today I hadn't been to in Kingston. A fellow walking his dogs asked if I was having any luck. When I said "No", he informed me a lot of guys hunt the park. It's getting hard to find a place that hasn't been hunted a lot. That's why I said what I did about the red clad, lol. I work 4 ten hour days: Sat-Tues, but maybe we can get together next season if the times can be worked out. Thanks!

Do you detect the rest areas on your runs if you do you will find quite a bit.

Red socialist coins - send 'em my way, and I'll purge the red out of 'em.

I hit some of the rest areas, found a bit in the pet walk areas, not to much around the picnic tables. Found a coin spill of about a dozen pennies last week, got to dark to see.

Yea the same up here Detroit, that nice pink, red and orange color. HH

I looked at your profile. You're in the right profession to get to hunt a lot of different areas. Do you make long hauls or day trips?

I guess long hauls, the farthest I have gone is Tobyhanna and we deliver to Schenectady. I have a run to Iowa on Sunday, already scouted out two parks I want to hit via maps.

If you like parks, Google Earth is a great tool. Those baseball fields just jump out at you.

Yes they do, I have had some good luck at them, and some have large parking areas

Some of the coins I find are different colors than what they are supposed to be too, red, green, black, brown etc. still wait'n for the "gold" one!

Never heard of the three leg buff. I will have to check out the few I have to see. Is this a couple coin error or something a little more common?
