I just got done doing electrolysis last night with the padlock then i cleared coated it so didn't rust, and i noticed there was words on it but hard to tell i do see m"aster pa" on it, u can't see the m but i know it has to say it gessing, but there is fue letters above the missing "m" see an "a" too, but on the top part of padlock in front too is another word the ending i was able to see was an "er", i took numerous pics with magnafi glass and with out, if anyone notice what this padlock says i appreciate the help thanks

The lettering you can almost read is probably, Lancaster, Pa. Several lock companies called it home. Fraim , Slaymaker and Reese to name a few. From the style, my guess on the lock would be Fraim. Known as a "Tinnie" style lock, These were popular from about 1890's through the 30's and later. Eagle Lock Co. had a similar style used into the fifties.
