Found both of these items at a early 1800 site. Thought they might be Tinkling related but one has a carved wood plug that fits perfectly into the large cone. The bell shape may have allowed it to stand upright? Not sure, I don't think they are candle related.

They are Victorian era 'tussy mussy' or 'posy holders'. Popular ladies fashion accessory from the mid to the end of the 19th C.

Thank you! That a great help. The spot where I found these had lots of small fancy buttons and old gold plated finger rings etc. Definitely a lady's place. Maybe several ladies as I found a brothel coin on the spot.
