I'm new to this and have a lot to learn, but one thing I'm pretty sure of...the round rock is not a blade or knife. It turned up today in the little wading pool in our creek. Also found these two tiny little ?????s. Number 2 is just a little over an inch long. The edges are more jagged looking than they appear in the photo. Still learning about flaking. Am I getting any closer to the real thing?

The round one set aside till later when you get more experienced as to if it is natural or not cause sometimes its just hard to tell unless you have it in hand.
The rest are just rocks. If you can take a pic of your creek where the gravel builds up and also a bank shot. I will then be able to tell you what type of rock to look for as a artifact. Trying to help

Natural stones, not artifacts...

I have concurred, just rocks.

Thank you! I will take a pic tomorrow and send it to you.

I have to go along with the others that they are natural stone, the round one I would have to hold in my hand to make a call foe sure, but nature can make some real nice marbles. Welcome to T-net:hello: The best way to learn about flaking is to try it yourself with stone.

you have a good eye and we have all been taken in by those really good natural shapes you have....especially that lower left one.
