It was easy to tell that was an amateur cameraman, a real cameraman would have stood there to get the shot.... literally

In Austin TX, I've never liked to go to the show, simply because it takes about 3 hours after the show just to drive 5 miles to get home. But this would have been worth it. Maybe... hopefully nobody was hurt.

oops. Hope the injuries aren't to bad. Been in the line of fire once from a large "cake" firework that went bad. Wasn't a rush for me and hope to never experience it again. Didn't stop me from viewing and lighting fireworks though.

I was the lighter man the other night, At the family gathering. There was one of those 12 shot things that fired a shot at me and one at the guy who was puttin on the show. I rushed into the bush to stomp the lil flame and embers, When I was attacked and torn up, By a gall dang crab apple bush, Ouchy. The funny thing is the firework that decided to fire upon us was standing straight up and never fell over. Guess it had a mind of its own..

Pretty scary! This seems to be happening more all the time. I wonder what year they will stop fireworks entirely to protect us from harm.

Well Jeff it sure seems that way. A mortar in a 14" tube blows up 3 feet off the ground. And another commences to fire upon us as we are giving the family a show. They must really rig them to get us now and then. Like you said.
