The last time I was there was during hurricane Opal, and it was pretty then too. We were out of power for 3 days and nobody 'warmed' to death on the beach. Quite a contrast to the Yankee's stuck in the snow and frozen ice storms up north.

Just thought you should know that today finds the sun climbing into a deep blue sky over Tampa Bay for the Gasparilla invasion. It's going to be 70 degrees today, think I'll go fishing...

The weather guy just said "rain this month we are done with snow or ice" we will get rain and cold but thats it !
Today upper 60's or low 70's then cold nd rain starts Sunday.

I had a hard time concentrating. I wanted to go back to high ground and just look at the water.
