Park wasn't hunted out!

Hey all,

I went to our local park tonight and while my son practiced baseball, I pulled out my detector. I checked along a hillside above a the curb, where it was difficult to get too because it was steep. I thought perhaps there may be a few old coins if I worked slow. I wasn't wrong. :icon_pirat: In 40 minutes time I walked off with the following:

1910 Wheat
1953D Wheat
1959D Memorial
1939 Jefferson Nickel
1958D Roosevelt....One more silver! Who Hoo!!

The 1910 Wheat and 1958D Rosie are both in excellent condition. Just wanted to share my finds! :icon_sunny:

Re: Park wasn't hunted out!

I've had so much luck in parks that have the sloping hillside around its fringes. Probably due to people resting on the side of the hill or kids playing and rolling down them.

Nice job, BB!!
Bring ME back there with you. Almost sure he'll score some wheats and a silver or two at that place.
