i got the same artifact in my junk box.. I hope we can get a ID on it. I dont even recall where I dug it. I think around a old 1900s house site if i recall.

Seems like it might be something from a fireplace or some type of furnace another option would be something off a treadle sewing machine.???

It is a buggy step off of a Parry Manufacturing Company buggy, circa 1896. Parry Mfg. was located in Indianapolis, and were the manufacturers of high end buggies.
