So, what am I looking at here?
I picked it up sometime earlier this year. It's an inch and a half in length and about an inch across. Not sure of the composition, but I'm pretty sure it's gilt over the lion. It would have been longer - it appears the bits running up either side of the lion are broken (snapped :dontknow:)
Any input always appreciated :wink:

It's a strap or sling buckle. Too bad it's broken! (one in the picture is a reproduction)
