went to a field this morning for a couple hours. hot hot and biting flies. picked up alot of
flakes, flake cores, and a few broken bases and what I think is a etley in bad shape and
caused me smile when i was looking them over before I snapped the picture I realized
that a small base had the same material as the body of that etley, still not that great of
point but i did come up with a match, first one for me, Question please, what kind of glue
do you use to put these two pieces together??? well it was good to get out and walk today even if
it was a very hot day. take care all and thanks for looking. HH JYD...

Nice haul there JYD, lots of interesting pieces and sweet materials. Great luck on the match, that's tough to do. I just use a little elmers glue to repair points, it works well and is not harmful to the material.

Pockets full of rocks!--Nice. I agree with the Elmer's. Works very well and is water soluble if you ever want to seperate the pieces again.

thanks for the replies 37, molly, naturegirl and unitas. elmers sounds good. the field
i am hunting had winter wheat combined off and disced up and will be planted in fescue soon.
He disced up the field wensday, and it just hot and dusty and hard to see rocks right now, hoping
it will rain tonight and i can find me a boat load tommorrow. thanks again for the nice words
and good luck to all you treasure seekers out there. ...JYD...

I was just wonder'n how your back has been ,.. and do you think you might be able to do a bit of creek hunt'n later this year ? Man , I've seen some of your wild lithic's, and a few of your heartbraker's ,..now, it's just a matter of time !
Good luck with that rain , and don't over do it .
