Friday evening I was out at Pass-a-Grille (St. Petersburg, Florida) and was the only detecting dude in sight. Stayed till sunset, stuck gold which I'll post later.
Figured I try my luck again this afternoon. I'm wading neck deep and spy another detectorist. Had a great chat with him and found he was there with a few more friends.
Beach goer's must of thought is was a convention. I think there were five of us in the space 1/4 mile stretch of beach. Needless to say it's very CLEAN now!
"Lookingdown" was there but I can't remember the names of the others I met. It was nice to meet you all. I hope you found something to make the trip worthwhile.
