Researching first settlers of my area, found a site from my readings that was never plotted on any maps…had a great two hours hunting, plenty left to dig too!!!

Well done on finding the site and then getting those great finds! Finding a new, old, unhunted site is wonderful and provides some of my most pleasant and memorable hunts. Being able to hunt such a site unhurriedly and alone is very peaceful, I have found. It's like going into another dimension.
 

Ought a be a hallf dime or trime on that site. Good luck

Agreed, it was my favorite find, have recovered 150ish large cents, only about 20 pieces of gorgets/pendants and only 4 whole
