Peace Dollar and Crack Pipe

Daughter and I got to check out an old church and a few local playgrounds this weekend. Daughter got the best find - a 1923 Peace Dollar. I got the most unusual find - a crack pipe at an old playground. Found a few odds and ends - a pendant, crushed bracelet, toy car, dice, etc. Besides the 1923 Peace Dollar at the church, we found 3 wheaties - a 40, 51D, and 57D. Also got a 1960D small date cent out of there. Clad count was good again this weekend totaling 243 plus 2 tokens.

I bet your daughter was excited! That's a beauty of a Peace dollar! Hey, I found a 1960-D penny yesterday that looks exactly the same as yours. Are these rare?

To reply about my daughter finding the "BIG WILVER", i have never seen her do her "Wilver Dance" as I now call it. She was pumping both fists and kinda doing a Chubby Checker Twist while running around showing everybody what she found.

As for the rarity of the 60D small date, its D mint is more common than the P mint. Both Small dates are harder to find than the large dates. Of all the 1960 pennies I have found in my years of MD'ing, this is my fist small date.

No, no... your both wrong. That pipe is a very simple maryjane pipe that you can buy from any head shop. It'll take a 'standard bowl' full of pot, generally enough for two people. The clear plastic part can be used as a storage area. People will put extra pot in it, and as you smoke, the tar will get the 'storage' area all gummy with pot resin.

Haven't touched that junk since college. Made me have anxiety attacks. Thinking ever car I heard outside was the cops. My friend still does it, and he hasn't had a job in over 8 years. Lives at home with his grandma. Poor soul.

My advice? Through it away. It's bad karma and has only negative value.

great find with that peace dollar! was it in the chips or burind in the soil? and yeah that pipe is for smoking weed......not that i would know anything about that or anything.

Mike and Kirk are right; unscrew it apart or smash it into pieces and throw it out.
Preferably in a disliked neighbors trash can.
Not only is it bad karma but it's illegal (possession of drug paraphernalia) is a crime.
