I posted a while back about a peanut shaped rock my friend found here in Central Texas. Finally talked him out of it or rather he got tired of hearing me talk about ;). Eight inch length, five inch diameter, wear in middle and on one end as if from grinding. It appears to be made out of flint. I am posting some pics of it as well as a pic of some other artifacts found in same area. I appreciate any thoughts on what it might be. Grinder. tool or just a big rock. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys. Regarding the peanut shaped rock. My name is Damon and im from S.A. About a month ago i found two rocks that look almost identical to your rocks. I have got a meeting with a guy on Mon that will be able to help identify the rock. It is heavy, got flow line affect and is of rusty brown colour. I think it is either a meteor or lava rock. Have you had any help with yours yet?

Thanks man gonna check it out

They are more than likely Concretions. The one ohioriver hunter has is definitely a piece of Concretion.

I think you have a chert nodule there. I have one that is shaped just like it.

No its natural, I have seen others post them in the past.
