Pennies and Nickels?

Hey guys if I were to start roll searching pennies and nickels what do I look for exactly? Could someone point me to a website that says or something? I know the basics of nickels like the war times, V nickels, buffalo and what not

Besides the obvious silver and obsolete coins like wheat pennies, Indian head cents, and buffalo nickels, you might want to search for error coins, then I would recommend "Strike It Rich With Pocket Change" by Ken Potter & Brian Allen. You will need a good loupe magnifier, I use a 16x, and then just look for the errors listed in the book which are by coin type and year. My copy of this book paid for itself the first day I used it, and continues to help me find error coins. A used copy on Amazon or eBay might run around $10. The 4th edition has the most recent coins, to around 2011. Cheers!!
